Shorebird Workshop
Free!  No previous experience necessary!

Saturday, March 29, 2008 
9:00 AM til Noon

 At Guana, Tolomato, Matanzas Education Center
Highway A1A in South Ponte Vedra

Topics Include:

  • Shorebird Identification
  • St. Johns County’s Threatened, and Declining Birds
  • Citizen Science:  Monitoring Protocols for Volunteers
  • Stewardship:  How even the most unskilled person can help.

Bonus Field Trip!

Chris Burney, Shorebird Partnership Coordinator for FWC, will lead a pre-workshop walk.  Meet him 7:30 AM at the access across from the Gate Station immediately south of the Guana entrance.  Bring your binoculars.
