Roadside Cleanup-Saturday, Feb. 4th, 2012 @ 8:30 AM
. Help Clean-up Our Very Own Adopted Road... . We really need your help to cleanup our "Adopted Road"...... Please join us for this important roadside clean-up. . We will be doing another roadside cleanup on Saturday morning, February 4th, 2012 beginning at 8:30 AM. This cleanup will be performed from Santander Road down towards Pope Road, along SR 312 (our Friends of Anastasia State Park Adopted Road). We are again in great need of volunteers to help out in this effort. The Park will provide cleaning tools, bags and safety equipment, but please bring a bottle of water to drink (recommended), sunscreen and gloves, (if you have them). The group will meet at 8:30 AM at the intersection of Santander Road and SR 312. There will be a Park staff member and a "Friends" volunteer on-hand to coordinate this effort and to provide any assistance necessary. Depending on the turnout that we have, we should be done by about 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM or so. . Bird Walk at Anastasia State Park
Come meet the birds in our state parks! Led by a park volunteer, these fun, informative walks are open to the public and to birders of all levels. Please dress for the weather (hat, sunscreen, etc.) and bring binoculars and a field guide if available.

Next (February-2012) Friends of Anastasia Park Meeting - 7:00 PM
Our next Friends regular meeting will take place on Tuesday evening, February 21st, 2012 @ 7:00 PM at the Park Administration Office conference room (by the Amphitheater). All Friends members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please note the new meeting start time of 7:00 PM.
